Record Shattering March Heat Wave Surprises Scientists

Record shattering March heat wave sent people to the beaches in droves

The record shattering March heat wave has come as a surprise even to a majority of scientists. In fact, it’s been so warm in the United States alone this year, especially in March, that national records weren’t just shattered, they were literally baked!

Temperatures in the U.S. for the lower 48 states averaged 8.6 degrees above normal for March alone and an astonishing 6 degrees higher than average for the entire first three months of the year 2012, according to calculations made by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). That by far exceeds, or shatters in our opinion the existing records.

Some meteorologists who have warned about the effects of global warming have become alarmed at the magnitude of how unusual the year has been in the United States. One climate scientist said the record march heat wave is like the weather equivalent of a baseball player on steroids, with old records being obliterated, like the home run records during the big steroid era in major league baseball. Neonicotinoid Pesticides Bee Populations Colony Collapse Disorder Linked in Two New Studies

Neonicotinoid pesticides Bee Populations Colony Collapse Disorder Linked

Neonicotinoid pesticides and bee populations crash are linked, however CropLife America, a front group for Monsanto, Dow, and other pesticide makers would have you believe otherwise. 2 recent studies have tied the crashing populations of Bees to the pesticide.

The pesticides in question are called Neonicotinoids, since they are derived from nicotine (used as a pesticide since the 1700′s). “Neonics” are systemic insecticides, or insecticides that are taken up by a plant’s tissues and circulate within the plant. This makes these pesticides a highly effective and relatively safe insect control method, since only insects that eat the plant will be affected. It also is sometimes the only way to kill insects inside a plant; an insect boring into a tree, for example, can’t be sprayed directly.

Neonicotinoid

Neonicotinoid is a widely used farm pesticide first introduced in the 1990s has caused significant changes to bee populations and colonies and removing it could be the key factor in restoring nature’s army of pollinators, the bee populations, according to two studies released Thursday. Global Warming Hoax, Global Cooling Myth Exposed

Global warming hoax – global cooling myth exposed for the garbage that they are. They both are still alive and kicking these days, even after unprecedented heat waves, droughts, and tornado outbreaks are shattering records everywhere across the globe. This March ‘heat wave‘, described as staggering and astonishing by meteorologists set thousands of temperature records for cities all across the eastern two-thirds of the nation.

No one with a minimal amount of intelligence can see the global cooling myth or the global warming hoax as nothing more than the propaganda that it is. ‘Merchants of Doubt‘ have been intentionally planting seeds of uncertainty throughout the land, but none come as close to the U.S. in terms of propaganda and denial campaigns. These merchants of doubt are paid well by special interest groups to endlessly question data, dismiss experimental innovation, stress uncertainties, and demand further research. These ‘well paid’ ‘skeptics’ are part of a group that has helped weaken legislation action or brake political momentum on such big issues such as tobacco, acid rain, ozone layer protection and climate change. Climate Change Science Update State of the Planet - Planet Under Pressure 2012 March 26-29 London UK

Climate change science is being addressed in the State of the Planet report at the Planet Under Pressure conference in London which began March 26, 2012 and ends March 29, 2012.

In the State of the Planet report, climate scientists described human’s global impact as “The Great Acceleration” and offered an ominous outlook for an uncertain future in a much hotter world.

2,800 climate science experts are meeting at the 4 day Planet under Pressure conference in London, and the Day 1 analysis of the current condition of Earth kicked off the week long review of vital signs, obstacles, and how to proceed forward.

According to the experts in the fields, time is running out rapidly to minimize the risk of setting in motion a series of events which could mean irreversible, long-term climate change and other dramatic changes to Earth’s life support systems, according to climate change scientists speaking at the Planet Under Pressure conference. This unequivocal warning was delivered on the first day of the conference giving the latest readings on the planets vital signs. Global Warming

Global Warming is a complex chain of processes which can feed on each other once the process has begun

Global Warming

Global warming (GW) which threatens all mankind and the Earth, appears as a chain of processes that stimulate one another by getting into cause and effect contact with global crisis. At the same time, both crises are closely connected with global political crisis – global crisis of democracy as well as crises of field of fundamental human rights and freedoms, world order and political systems. We think that the struggle against each of them separately will not be enough without reviewing these three crises together and attempting their parallel solution simultaneously.

Considering of role of changes taken place in human factor and mind in both GW and global economic development is very important in solution of these problems and prevention of re-occurrence of this type of crises. We consider it important to study the specific connection between GW and human factor which is the most important factor of global democratic crisis and both crises in a scientific way.
