Arkansas Dead Birds and Fish In Arkansas

Some Arkansas Dead Birds And Fish are among the weird things that have been going on in Arkansas lately. Just before the clock striking 0:0:01 on January 1, 2011, approximately 5,000 birds fell down from the sky, and several days later nearly 100,000 dead fished washed up along the shores of the Arkansas River.

Experts are claiming that the two events are not in any way connected, they are still trying to find the source of what killed both the birds and the fish. There are also the conspiracy theories that are amassing as the tin hatters are claiming everything from government testing, military testing or other government related conspiracy.

According to expert scientists, mass fish kills occur every year, but Arkansas state spokesman Keith Stephens indicated that a disease may have been responsible for the massive numbers of dead drum fish. “The fish kill only affected one species of fish,” he said. “If it was from a pollutant, it would have affected all of the fish, not just drum fish.” Continue Reading Arkansas Dead Birds and Fish In Arkansas Here

Donations to Japan Being Delayed up to 90 Days By Phone Companies so please sign the petition or send your donation to another place from our list here or both!

Many of you good hearted souls have been sending donations for Japan, and some of those are through a text message. The phone companies are the likes of AT&T and Verizon among others that are delaying these funds for up to 90 days before they are released to the relief organizations. These same companies are getting free advertising and press for the text-to-donate programs as well. They implemented the same tactic for the Haiti disaster, although after pressure from the likes of Change.org, they came through. There is a new petition to demand that AT&T, Verizon and the other major phone service providers to stop the delay of the much needed money from reaching it’s final destination of the relief organizations at ground zero whom are participating in the relief efforts. Masaya Uchino, a law student from San Francisco with family in Japan initiated this petition, which can be found here at Stop the delay on donations to Japan petition”.

Asteroid 2011 MD Trajectory Will be Near Miss on Monday, June 27, 2011

NASA has issued a recalculated time for the closest approach of Asteroid 2011 MD reporting that it will be about 3 1/2 hours later than it had initially thought on Monday, June 27,2011. Here’s something for you to chew on as your work week begins on Monday, that a small asteroid the size of a tour bus will make an extremely close pass to the Earth Monday, but it poses no immediate risk to the planet.

The asteroids closest approach will now be at 1:14 p.m. EDT or 17:14 GMT on June 27, 2011 and will pass just over 7,500 miles (12,000 kilometers) above the Earth’s surface, NASA officials stated. At that particular moment, the asteroid, which scientists have named 2011 MD, will be sailing over the coast of Antarctica, almost 2,000 miles, or 3,218 km south-southwest of South Africa. Rising Gas Prices Explained: Will Gas Prices Continue to Rise?

oil,gas,prices,speculation,price,speculators,contracts,demand,libya,barrels,gas prices

Gas Prices rising have many of us saying OMG and WTF

Gas prices are certainly a concern for all of us, considering most of us, especially in America need to drive. While many here in America think it is President Obama’s fault, it is not. That is either right wing propaganda at work, misinformation, or lack of understanding and knowledge on the subject. President Obama Strikes Back At GOP Critics On Gas Prices who are using this situation to again further their own political agenda, and not working on anything like reining in greedy speculators on Wall Street. Obama has done nothing that would set off a surge in these prices. In fact, the United States is producing more home grown oil and natural gas than it has in a long time.

The thing we must consider is the world economy is improving, demand in other areas of the world is rising, and speculators are taking advantage of the situation in the Middle East again to boost profits for Wall Street. In a report last week in Bloomberg Business Week it is considered that oil speculators have already priced in a war with Iran.

Bankers energy profits

Bankers taking price gouging in energy prices and turning it into the next bubble?

Most oil analysts will point out that more than half of the spike in oil pricing is due to speculators, and more specifically, noncommercial users. Those noncommercial users consist of investors, many of which are from Wall Street who buy up futures contracts not because they will use the oil, but for an investment and are betting that the price will go up. So far the bets are paying off, thanks primarily to themselves. Continue Reading Rising Gas Prices Explained: Will Gas Prices Continue to Rise? Here

Mass Extinction Events Sixth Mass Extinction Event in Oceans from Human Carbon Emissions Likely

Mass Extinction Events Sixth Mass Extinction Event in Oceans from Human Carbon Emissions Likely And Not From A More Likely Source Like This Asteroid Pictured Here

As mass extinction events go, humans may be creating the sixth mass extinction event in oceans from carbon emissions created by man. Many will of course proclaim differently, stating that mankind isn’t responsible, and the deniers will call us all loony left wing liberals or tree huggers, or eco Nazis, well so be it, but the facts are there.

The rate at which oceans are currently acidifying is faster than any rate over the last 300 million years. During that time span, there were four mass extinctions researchers discovered. During those four mass extinction events, the increase in CO₂ in the atmosphere not only warmed the planet but made the oceans more acidic as well. These changes are directly linked with major climate shifts and mass extinction events. As with every year, International Women’s Day 2012 (IWD) falls on March 8, 2012 for this year, and is celebrated on March 8 for every year.
