Peach Flavored Iced Green Tea – Recipe
Drinking green tea may be a great way to help you lose some excess weight according to clinical studies conducted by Dr. Abdul Dulloo, of the University of Geneva in Switzerland. According to the studies, green tea raises metabolic rates and speeds up fat oxidation, partially due to the caffeine. Green tea is also great as an immune system enhancement and overall health and energy booster, as well as an anti-cancer agent, with flavonoids and polyphenols thought to inhibit tumor formation. Zesty Lemon Detox Tea Recipe
This recipe was simply designed to serve as a cleansing tea to stimulate thr processing of excess fats in the body, rev up circulation, and provide essential antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals —a perfect blend of nutrients. It’s a great aid in undoing the effects of holiday over-indulgence, and Annie says she was given the same tea by a helpful friend after she was exposed to toxic chemicals. But it tastes so good, you’ll want to come back for seconds: We had a crock-pot filled with it for a recent women’s workshop and it was gone in no time!
This is a great recipe that really gets around, and it’s so easy to prepare.
Enough freshly-boiled water to fill your teacup or mug
1 tablespoon real maple syrup
Freshly-squeezed juice of half a lemon
Cayenne pepper to taste
Simply stir the ingredients together directly in your mug or cup, or in a bowl if you are spill conscious. You can easily make a pitcher by multiplying the ingredients by 8 or so, mixing in the boiling water, then serve yourself a mug and save the rest for later. Just reheat in a microwave oven. Be very cautious with the cayenne pepper as a little dab goes a long ways for this recipe.
We hope that these homemade detox tea recipes help both you and your loved ones to look and feel younger and healthier! Peace my friends!
