Happy Earth Day Everybody!

Why Earth day do you ask? Many have asked the question why Earth Day since its inception on April 22nd, 1970 I imagine. Lets begin with a brief history on this historic event. This year, 2010 marks the 40th anniversary of the original day which was celebrated on April 22nd, 1970. Those were troubled times, with the Vietnam War, Anti-War Protests, and then April 22nd. Global Warming

Global Warming is a complex chain of processes which can feed on each other once the process has begun

Global Warming

Global warming (GW) which threatens all mankind and the Earth, appears as a chain of processes that stimulate one another by getting into cause and effect contact with global crisis. At the same time, both crises are closely connected with global political crisis – global crisis of democracy as well as crises of field of fundamental human rights and freedoms, world order and political systems. We think that the struggle against each of them separately will not be enough without reviewing these three crises together and attempting their parallel solution simultaneously.

Considering of role of changes taken place in human factor and mind in both GW and global economic development is very important in solution of these problems and prevention of re-occurrence of this type of crises. We consider it important to study the specific connection between GW and human factor which is the most important factor of global democratic crisis and both crises in a scientific way. 2010 Climate Bill

Fate of the 2010 climate bill

The 2010 Climate Bill appears to be dead according to a dozen of our senators out of 16 surveyed. With the economy still a mess and jobs scarce, lawmakers see little chance of passing legislation which might hinder economic recovery and growth. The amount of people whom believe climate change and global warming are a hoax has more than doubled, and those whom do believe that global warming is real and caused by humans is at 10 percent. So now they are talking about expanding offshore drilling, building more nuclear power plants and requiring a portion of the U.S. electric supply to be generated by renewable sources.

Green Planet Ethics Climate Change Global Warming, and other thoughts

Green Planet Ethics Climate Change Global Warming, and other thoughts, green energy, climate change, green power, global warming, green, energy, change, oil, earth, need, good, power, ethics, global

Home sweet home, dont screw it up any worse!

Green Planet Ethics Climate Change Global Warming, and other thoughts boils down either for real, or a conspiracy theory, however you choose to address it, it is everyone’s problem who lives on Earth. Green energy is the future for Earth, not oil, which is finite and toxic at most levels. Earth cannot sustain our dependence on oil, and like any addiction, we need to take action. Finally admitting we have a problem is a good step, but is far from a solution on climate change. The clock is ticking on Planet Earth, and if this green energy can save us, or help us then we need to do it and do it now!

Earth rising on the horizon..

Global warming and climate change have been in the news more lately with all the recent extreme weather events. The image to the left is just a glimpse of earth from orbit during a solar eclipse, and just goes to show how much of an impact that the sun has on our planet. The potential for disaster on our fragile planet is high, even before we existed, let alone some of the things we have done. The possibilities are nearly endless, and maybe the sun gets hotter, or the Earth’s rotation changes speed, or our axis shifts by a tenth of a degree. These could all create major problems which could very likely threaten life on this planet as we know it. Another concern, which is at the forefront of most everyone’s agenda lately, or which should be is what impact, or byproducts of our living on this planet has caused. Now thats a lot of waste!

How to address the i9ssues of global warming with waste management, as solid waste is not always an issue we all want to talk about. But now, as the growing level of concern for the environments protection is reaching its highest, we all need to delay throwing out our water bottles a bit longer and think what we are doing to our only earth.

Waste and Global Warming
The amount of greenhouse gases released by a certain product depends on that products life cycle. For example, all manufactured products, from plastic cups to automobiles, require energy to produce. Continue Reading How to Address the Issues of Global Warming with Waste Management Here
