So if you are surrounded in a sea of red today and don’t know why, this is your reason, and hence, as the campaign suggests, raises the awareness for this worthy cause. This year, as in the rest, the fashion industry typically leads the way in this effort, and holds its annual The Heart Truth’s Red Dress Collection Fashion Show, which is typically held on the eve of Fashion Week’s start in New York. The show will commence on February 9, and will feature such celebrities as Jennifer Love Hewitt, Dita Von Teese, Julianne Hough, Alison Sweeney, and Eve, whom all will be wearing red dresses, of course, created by designers from the likes of Donna Karan, Zac Posen, Badgley Mischka, Oscar de la Renta, and Monique Lhuillier. Some of the gowns that will be featured in this show will be auctioned off after the show to help raise money for the cause. This fashion show begins Wednesday Feb 9, 2011 at 7 PM EDT and is going to be live on CBSNews.com The Heart Truth page.
